No, I am not getting bored with the Mermaid but can't help thinking about what to do next. For a while I have been thinking about a baby blanket for the latest member of the family. But!!!Crochet? or lace knitting?

Hard choice the blanket. Personally, I like the look of the knit vs. the crochet. However, if you need it quick, the knit will take longer to make than the crochet. In either case, it's going to be loved.
Mermaid has grown alot over the weekend! She certainly has magic powers ... ! I prefer the knitted lace to the crochet. The feather and fan pattern goes quite quickly once you get into it. I love the spring flowers, we are about 1 month behind you.
I am quite positive I will end up doing the knit blanket. The pattern looks quite complicated -but it is a piece of cake. So it shouldn't take forever -not if I make it a crib blanket ;-)
