MRI bag

I felle like a real woman now! I am attending a course on MRI this week (Magnetic resonance Imagíng) and I am knitting at the same time. Multitasking!!!

I can now knit without looking. The good thing about filting is, that you can't see all the mistakes once it has been in the washing machine.

The "bag" however looks enourmous!!!

Brownie Bag

I really do like these colours -although they offcourse come up totally wrong on these pictures. Have started on a new one right away -a good way to keep me awake at a course I am attending this week.

The texture of this bag is totally diffferent from the previous ones I have made. I like it though. Which is quite lucky as I have 2,5 kg yarn left!!

Size before wash: floppy 21x13x29 cm

Size after wash -and a lot of pulling: 20x6x16 cm

Socks

I am not a sock knitter -yet. But I must admit I do get tempted when I see socks like this. They must be so much fun to make.

Angels

Empty ears

Yesterday I finished The Serpent's Toothby Michelle Paver. I can't do squares when listening to books. Soo, no books today which means I made 3 squares -and a half actually, but then I had go go a dig out the cars.

Snow

Snow snow snow. I have never seen so much snow before. The schools and daycare are closed, the police warn us not to go anywhere by car, havn't been to work for 2 days.
But...it is kind of fun, as long as it doesn't continue for weeks!

Popcorn square

May I present: square no. 13 and 14

Another felted bag

One more felted bag survived the washing machine.

Single square

Square of the day!

shawl

I made this shawl while on holiday in Vienna a few weeks ago.

Yesterday I ordered...ahem...around 80 skeins of wool for felting. Guess I don't have to do yarn shopping for a loooong time!!!

I oredered some yarn from www.garn.dk a few days ago. And ofcourse I couldn't resist starting on a new knitting projekt. A felted bag. It's in the washing machine right now. I sure hope it shrinks quite a bit!

A squared life

I am working on an afghan made of squares. Thought about joining a square swap, but with SP10 and my new B'day club comming up I better not ;-) I'll just make squares for myself -and if some of you out there would like to swap a square or two then let me know. The squares I want are 20cm / 8" in off-white, beige, brownish colours. I can make what ever colour you like in whatever size (well not 50" doh).

My digital camera broke a week ago. I really need a new one... don't I? he he he

In the meantime i have figured out how to use my mobile with bluetooth. Quality is well... see for your self...

Yawn

That's it. No more for today. It's time for a run and a bit of knitting.

Book the ears

When I knit or crochet I often listen to books on my Ipod nano. At the moment I am halfway through a triology by Zizou Corder. It is actually a book for children (my 10 yo daughter har started to read it), but who cares.
I used to read a lot of books, but it is difficult to read and knit at the same time ;-)
